Behind the lens — the story behind HoppingStates
We're Trevor and Savannah, two young parents who decided to trade the “American dream” for OUR dream.
In our early 20s, we bought a house, settled down, and did all the things you're “supposed” to do. We brought our two children home to that house, built a beautiful life surrounded by great people, and checked all the boxes. But deep down, something didn't feel right.
We were constantly chasing the next thing, working harder just to keep up, and watching our time together as a family disappear. After a lot of prayer and reflection, we realized the life we truly wanted was simpler… more intentional, more present.
So we sold the house, sold everything we owned… vehicles and all, and hit the road in a 43' renovated 5th wheel. At first, it was nerve-wracking. But the moment we jumped in, it just clicked. Now we spend our days exploring new places, making memories with our kids, and actually living… not just existing.
